XCR

SOURCE INFORMATION

XCR is built by simply converting an EDO-04 SCR unit into a CCR. It could be used in either standard SCR mode (aka RB-80) or CCR mode by simply changing 1 component within a few minutes.

FRONT

Right side of backplate: KISS valve injector, NiMH battery canister, bottom mix OC reg...

Left side of backplate: 3 backlit PO2 meters, 18w HID, 2L O2 tank, deco gas OC reg...

BACK

Right tank: 10/50 Diluent and OC bail-out...

Left tank: 50% Deco for OC bail-out, inflation...

Easy to switch between tank sizes as needed.

SIDE

Same thickness as standard twin set, only slightly wider with 7L tanks.

TOP

Easy to get to all of the valves. Clean hose routing.

SENSOR HOUSING

Holds 3 K1D sensors on the inhalation hose.

Worked perfectly on a 72m dive in CCR mode, excellent trim, WOB is low in contrast to past speculations based on innovative CL placement...

AFTER MORE DIVES...

Continue to work excellent after some fine-tuning modifications (i.e. timing of ADV, enhanced DSV, etc.)
